About us
Baltimore folks who like birds, data, and being outside.
We built Baltimore Bird Watch because we wanted one calm place to see what birds people are actually reporting around Baltimore—by zip, on a map, and without digging through an unfriendly app.
Between us we’re usually chasing our kid, weird birds, and places in Baltimore that feel special and unique. This site is our love letter to that idea, and to the eBird volunteers who make the data possible.
If you spot something confusing, a bug, or a way we could improve, we’d genuinely like to hear from you.

Where the sightings come from
All observation data on the dashboard comes from the eBird community and API. We aggregate and present it. We don’t replace eBird for submitting checklists or verifying rare birds.
