Baltimore folks who like birds, data, and being outside.
We built Baltimore Bird Watch because we wanted one calm place to see what birds people are actually reporting around Baltimore by zip, on a map, and without digging through an unfriendly app.
Between us we’re usually chasing our kid, weird birds, and places in Baltimore that feel special and unique.
We both work in software / product engineering so this collaboration was a natural way to combine our love of birds and data with our desire to build something that could be useful to other people.
This site is our love letter to that idea, and to the eBird volunteers who make the data possible.
